NetWhere SpaceTime
The brain of mobile network nervous system
NetWhere SpaceTime
With the advent of network-based real-time mass location, the sheer volume of location information available is overwhelming. Yet, the time value of location data is very short indeed. From the moment of its acquisition, the value of location data starts diminishing. The window of opportunity for extracting the data’s value may be as short as a few hours, minutes, or even seconds. As a result, much of the data collected goes unused.
To harness these data and extract meaningful insight may require complex evaluation, making timely analysis of the data impractical or impossible using manual techniques.
JSpectrum NetWhere SpaceTime ™ offers conditional event trigger engine that is capable of automatically fast scan place and time of every active mobile on the network 24x7. The Engine can synchronize timelines and correlate events from multiple data sources to discover information that might otherwise be missed. The Engine performing cross-analysis and correlation:
Monitor large volumes of data in real time as it is collected
Perform analysis across multiple data sources. E.g. weather reports, incident reports.
Complex events processing on conditions based on historical and lapsed time events
Integrate geo-fencing and spatial-temporal analysis
Visualize results using Google Earth/Maps,
JSpectrum’s NetWhere SpaceTime™ is a powerful spatial-temporal rules engine. It monitors streams of real time location trajectories and location events from which it collects intelligence and trigger action based on high-velocity, high-volume streaming data processor which can handle for examples
how close in proximity two devices came (both spatially and temporally),
whether users or location events are inside/outside of a specific region,
whether they have entered/exited a boundary,
whether their paths actually crossed,
whether a cluster or threshold of events were exceeded.
JSpectrum NetWhere SpaceTime transforms streams of raw location data collected by NetStream into knowledge and actionable information. The powerful engine continuously analyzes massive volumes of location data in real time. Users can input business rules for alert-base applications and context triggers.
NetWhere SpaceTime API
In the wake of extreme weather events, rising pollution and pandemic., governments around the world will need to prepare to meet the challenges.
NetWhere SpaceTime API is designed to provide real-time visibility such as evacuation and rescue and outbreak containment operations..
NetWhere APIprovides a restricted and secure access to algorithms and methods built within NetWhere SpaceTime platform that are designed to efficiently compute outputs from the signalling data.
Reports via NetWhere API calls are updated every 5 minutes.
The update frequency is important for situation management of many key places such as airports, railways interchanges, major food wholesale markets, national border checkpoints, just to name a few.
NetWhere API is essential for monitoring, not only helping us to locate and assist people during an emergency, but to help government agencies to plan better, particularly in disaster prone countries. This could save lives, not just time and money.
NetWhere offers four classes of API
Subscriber-based
Profile-based
Area-based
Event-based
To protect privacy, the first class is accessible only with permissioned blockchain tokens.
The other three classes of API are accessible to 3rd party with de-identificated and time-varied ID.
The REST API set is developed using OpenAPI framework. JSON Web Token is used to support client authentication. For monetization, API usage accounting for usage billing.
There are two types of Runners
Realtime Query Runner
•Use by realtime query API to get the required result from the location history storage including in-memory records
For example : realtime people counting
Batch Query Runner
Use to manage a query workload which require the retrieval of aggregated data or filtered historical data from the Hadoop database
The client will Invoke a batch query API to start the query and will implement the callback function to receive the result and pass as URL to the API Server.
